With a quick dig at the Radio 2 censor (who has amended the opening Schopenhauer quote) the show opens quickly, with Christian Reilly & Bubonic Plague who waste no time in finding out what happened to Rich after the end of last week's episode - when he was turned into a skellington by King Alfred's acid rain
Rich takes umbrage at first, pointing out that it's not easy being a Skellington, and it doesn't help when people keep reminding him about it. But it's OK - he made a ton of money trick or treating last weekend and lost 12 stone in weight & won the national slimmer of the year competition.

Brian O'Green & Mr. Morgan are back again, to tell us what happened this week in History.
The first thing of note is, of course, the Gunpowder Plot, which took place this week in 1605.
O'Green has - of course - another conspiracy theory on the subject, claiming that it was all the Government's idea in the first place, who used the furore as an excuse to round up & imprison people of a different faith without trial.
Rich is particularly amused by the fact that Fawkes tried to use the pseudonym John Johnson to escape imprisonment.

Christian & the band perform a song dedicated to John Glenn who - on the 7th November 1998 returned from space aged 77.

Once again she can't resist a cheap joke, this time centered around the term "masticating", and Rich is forced - for one last time this series - to run her out of the studio.

Brian O'Green tells us that Monopoly was launched on the 5th November 1935
But Rich is not impressed, he hates Monopoly, and - in direct response - has created his own game, Herringopoly.
He plays the game with Morgan & O'Green, and instantly wins, having started the game with all the properties on the board.

On the 2nd November 1755 saw the birth of Marie-Antoinette, and, in the return of "What Reaaalllly Happened", we learn the truth about her famous "Let Them Eat Cake..." quote, and how she met her end...

Returning to Herringopoly, Brian O'Green seems to have won, against all the odds.
As we're nearing the end of the series, Rich has created a large bonfire to celebrate, right here in the Student Union in which the show is recorded.
Mr Morgan is concerned about this - it doesn't seem particularly wise, but Rich lights it anyway, sending fireworks around the Union, and hitting the audience in the face.
But wait, where's TV's Emma Kennedy - she'd enjoy such a Mawkish display..... Oh no!
She's curled up all hedge-hog like in the fire and is about to be roasted alive!
But it's too late to save her, despite Rich's declaration of love, as the fire burns higher, they discover that Christian & the band have already departed before being burned to a crisp, leaving Morgan, O'Green & Herring to improvise the closing music over the ever-rising flames - as the show - and series closes in an inferno
